Tempera on wood, under a gilded metal rhiza with chased and repoussé decoration, topped with a nimbus in cloisonné polychrome enamels on a gilded metal amati background, preserved in a carved wood frame topped with a cross, presented under glass in its mahogany kiot whose border is decorated with a dome-shaped frieze inlaid in gilded brass.
