Russia, late 19th century.
Tempera on wood, under a silver and vermeil rhiza with chased and repoussé decoration, topped with vermeil nimbus, mantle in silver filigree on a gold background, preserved in a carved wood frame decorated with a frieze, presented under glass in its stained wood kiot topped with a cross, rectangular in shape. Good condition.
Title mark: 84, Moscow, 1881.
Master assayer's mark: A. K., unidentified.
Goldsmith's hallmark: Victor Savinkoff, active from 1855 to 1888.
