SILVER PECTORAL CROSS.
For members of the Orthodox clergy, representing Christ on his cross, presented with its link chain. Model of a cross awarded by Emperor Paul I in 1797, as attested by the Cyrillic inscription and the sovereign's cipher on the reverse. Time wear, but overall good condition.
Title hallmark: 84, Saint Petersburg, before 1896.
Goldsmith's hallmark: illegible.
