A Mid century French lithographic poster on Rivoli paper, Museum Morsbroich Leverkusen Februar 1955, after Fernand Joseph Henri Leger, French, 1881 to 1955. Signed in the plate, lower to the center. Printed by Mourlot, Paris. Marked in the print, lower left. Framed. Joseph Fernand Henri Leger was a French painter, sculptor, and filmmaker. In his early works he created a personal form of cubism known as tubism which he gradually modified into a more figurative, populist style. His boldly simplified treatment of modern subject matter has caused him to be regarded as a forerunner of pop art. Modern European Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
