Auguste RODIN (1840-1917) Dance movement, study type A, original size or small model Bronze with shaded brown patina, signed and numbered 2/12 inside the raised foot 31.3 x 7.6 x 14.2 cm Designed in 1911, this bronze proof was cast by the Alexis Rudier foundry in 1946. Provenance: Musée Rodin, Paris Musée Rodin, Paris M. Piere David-Weill (member of the Board of Directors of the Musée Rodin), Paris, 1946 Then by descent to France Lambiotte.
