Very fine and brilliant proof on thin laid paper, of the 1st state (of 3), before the addresses and before the retouching in the C of "Car", trimmed to the plate cut, very carefully washed. Slight trace of median vertical fold. Minor thinning visible through transparency at the head of the folio and in the corners. Ex-coll.
