Model 1777 infantry rifle corrected Year 9.
Round barrel with thunder flats, dated "1809", stamped and stamped "E.M". Breechblock marked "Mle 1777". Flat-body lock hallmarked "J", marked "Mre Imple de St Etienne" (partly faded). Brass bail. Round-bodied hammer. Punched iron fittings and ramrod. Walnut cheek stock with peg.
Service A.B.E., traces of oxidation.
