Soapstone frog with green glaze. It is pierced lengthwise and decorated with a floral motif on its base. The color of the glaze is particularly well-suited to this animal, which lives on marshy riverbanks. The frog is the animal of the goddess Heqet, protector of pregnant women and childbirth.
