In-12, fawn half-calf with corners, ornate smooth spine, black title page, marbled edges (Binding of the period). xii and 209 pp. Reprint of the English translation of L'Éloge de l'ivresse, given by Robert Samber and published in London in 1723 by E. Curll. According to a small notice pasted at the beginning of the volume, this reprint would be the first in a series of reprints of works on drinking, which would include all points of view in the controversy.
