silver teapot bearing the arms of LOUIS-GABRIEL SUCHET, MARÉCHAL D'EMPIRE. The spherical body is decorated on both sides with draped women dancing in the Antique style. The coat of arms is engraved above a double cornucopia and topped by an eagle with outstretched wings, holding thunderbolts and laurels in its talons. The spout ends in a lion's face and the handle is made of wood. The lid features an eagle on a branch. Marked cock 2nd title, 1809 - 1819 and Paris guarantee. No master goldsmith's hallmark.
