BAS RELIEF FRAGMENT WITH PUTTI in white marble. It is adorned with two winged putti holding a garland. Italy, early 16th century. Height : 74 cm - Width : 60 cm Depth : 7 cm (Fragment, visible accidents) Probably a fragment of a cenotaph basin, the same composition is found in a frieze on the Tomb of Ilaria del Carretto in the Cathedral of Saint Martino in Lucca, Tuscany.
