OFFICE DE LA SEMAINE SAINTE. En Latin et en François à l'usage de Rome et de Paris Paris, Veuve Mazières et Garnier, 1746. In-8, red morocco, Dubuisson plate on covers with central coat of arms, 5-rib spine nicely decorated with small irons and coat of arms, dominoté paper lining and endpapers with floral decoration on gilded background, gilded edges (Period binding). Olivier, pl. 730-1849 / Rahir, 184, a /// (2f.)-XXXVI-729-(1f.). Signed engraved title and 3 engraved plates by Scotin. A fine copy with a plate by Dubuisson on the type a boards, bearing the arms of Marie-Charles-Louis d'Albert de Luynes, duc de Luynes et de Chevreuse, prince de Neufchâtel et Wallengrin and prince d'Orange. He was Governor of Paris, Peer of France and Chevalier du Saint-Esprit. The coat of arms on the volume is almost identical to that reproduced by Olivier on plate 730, which is dedicated to him. They are faithfully reproduced in the biography of his second wife, Henriette-Nicole d'Edmond-Pignatelli (pl. 1849), who was lady-in-waiting to the Queen. Minor wear to corners, tear to one leaf.
