Spanish translation by Dr. Galderico Gali of this work by Ludovico Melzo, Italian cavalry general and knight of Malta, who served Spain and took part in the Dutch and French wars in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
The plates depict the rider's equipment and weaponry, as well as cavalry scenes in landscapes.
