■ PAIR OF BUSTS REPRESENTING A MAN AND A WOMAN ITALY, LATE 17th OR EARLY 18th CENTURY In black and white marble, marble and hardstone inlays, mother-of-pearl inlaid eyes, repoussé and gilded copper ornamentation, later glass mountings, later black marble pedestals; a 20th-century necklace decorated with repoussé copper fruits, hardstones, seeds and coins, on a braided cotton cord, is attached.
