Fawn leather blotter binding edged with gilt fillet, boards with the emblem of the National Assembly, shield marked: "LA NATION - LA LOI - ET LE ROI", on either side a knotted branch of laurel, above a Phrygian cap and, on either side, the inscription: "ASSEMBLÉE" and "NATIONALE"; inside in pink paper with a red morocco border gilt with irons; 38 x 25 cm. (Some stains and minor wear).
Revolutionary period, 1789/1792. Good condition.
