Pierre-Ambroise RICHEBOURG (1810-1875), attributed to. Study of a female nude, circa 1855. Stereoscopic ambrotype enhanced in color, produced on 1/3 or 2/6 plate, 8.4 x 17.2 cm. The cloth covering the model in this daguerreotype resembles a checkered blanket laid at the model's feet in the image reproduced in Le Nu stéréoscopique, 1850-1930, Filipacchi, 1985, no. 40, page 56. Serge Nazarieff indicates on page 158 that the photograph may be by Ambroise Richebourg, or that he may simply have been the seller.
