Signed in a cartouche M.DELALANDE de l'Académie Royale des Sciences, dated 1779 and engraved LATTRE à Paris, the engraved brass meridian circle.
The wooden and cardboard globe signed in a cartouche addressed to
M BONNE, premier Hydrographe du Roy au dépôt de la marine 1776.
Another cartouche bears the inscription Chez LATTRE à Paris, graveur du Roy. Each globe is presented on a four-columned desk mount in blackened wood with gold fleururette decoration. The upper part shows the months of the year, geographical indications and cardinal points.
