This book tells the story of Nicole Pierret, née Obri, from Thiérarche in Picardy, who, possessed by the devil,
was delivered by communion in the presence of many Reformed believers. The volume is adorned with a large, beautiful woodcut fold-out plate depicting Laon Cathedral at the time of the exorcism ceremonies. This plate, with its many figures, is reminiscent of those published by Jean Le Clerc. A very fine copy, finely bound by Trautz in the mid-19th century, of this extremely rare volume. Caillet, 1524.
