ALMANACH. La Muse triomphante, ou choix agréable de vers les plus ingénieux faits par des Dames célèbres. A Paris, chez Desnos, s. d. (1786). In-24, white marocco, compartments of marocco in several colors, red, lemon and blue, set with gilt thread, profusely covered with dentils, small irons, dotted foliage all over the boards, spine decorated in gold and mosaic, lining and endpapers of violet paper with gilt ramblings. (Rel. anc.). Delightful almanac, covered with a rich mosaic binding, very fresh. The subtitle "Calendrier de Paris", under which Grand-Carteret (611) describes it, is in this edition given at the head of the text and at the top of the pages. It is adorned with a frontispiece (Muse crowning Piron's bust), an engraved title and 7 engraved out-of-text prints, of the most graceful kind. This is a collection of songs whose engravings relate to the text.
