ORIGINAL EDITION of the translation by the d'Agneaux brothers. The work is decorated with a few
lettrines. Text on two columns. The work is divided into three parts: the first contains the odes and epodes. The second part contains the sermons or "satyrs" and the last part contains the epistles. A handsome, well-adjusted copy, in its decorated, well-preserved contemporary binding, with a remarkable spine and the most interesting words inscribed in the medallions on a book of poetry.
