DOZE GREEN (Born 1964) Portrait Marker on paper signed lower right 34 x 24 cm Provenance: private collection, Paris At the very end of the 1970s, Doze Green achieved a perfect synthesis of hip-hop and graffiti. In this canvas, we find the spindly figure for which he is best known, immersed in solid colors reminiscent of his early days in the New York subway. Today, he's renowned for his characters and his more narrative universe, but today we're unveiling a work from 1995 in the purest "old school" spirit.
