(2) Interesting lot of two albums of old photographs - Circa 1900-1920. Approximately 157 black and white photographs. Unidentified photographer (military?). Mainly travels in the Indian Ocean (Madagascar, Zanzibar, Comoros) and Africa (Egypt, South Africa, Senegal). Many moving portraits evoking local customs and traditions, particularly in Madagascar. Sultan of Zanzibar, Indian families in Zanzibar, natives. Landscapes, general views (city and countryside). General Galliéni's residence in Madagascar... Two drawings signed Maya Barèges (?) and dated 1894 depicting a couple in traditional Spanish garb (albums, accidents, stains, foxing).
