Jean-Claude Salemi (1950) is a Belgian comic book artist, engraver, illustrator and musician. During the 1970s and early 1980s, he designed numerous posters for local jazz concerts in Liège and Brussels, as well as cartoons for publishers such as Marabout, Vie Ouvrière and Van In. With Anne-Catherine Van Santen, Salemi co-founded Atelier Razkas in 1986, a collective of engravers, etchers and stone printers who have often exhibited their work in Belgium and abroad. His drawings have appeared in Le Vif/L'Express, L'Écho, Le Matin, Le Soir, Le Ligueur and Politique magazine.
