Gold top edge. Limited edition of 2000 copies, stapled and bound by the publisher. Printed by imprimerie Wallon in Vichy, the plates illustrated in color were printed by imprimerie Dejoie in Paris, the binding in suede imitation, smooth spine and gold lettering, executed by Marguin in Paris. 8 hors-texte, full-page color illustrations, 20 black-and-white in-text sketches. The first edition of this book by Edouard Foa was published in 1900 by Plon in Paris. In 1962, Editions Visaphone reissued the book, with illustrations by Roger Reboussin, as part of their hunting classics collection.
