LOUIS XV period COMMODE Attributed to Pierre Roussel
In marquetry of bois de bout and bois de violette in frames of amaranth on a satin-finish background, ornamentation of chased and gilded bronze, top of breche d'Alep marble, the front opening with two drawers, curved legs adorned with bronze sabots, trace of an illegible stamp on the front right jamb; restorations to the veneer, the veneer lightened by the sun.
