Chased bronze mounting. Striated olive pommel. Silver filigree spindle. Single-branch, donkey-step guard. Bivalve shell.
Straight blade with central flat spot, engraved one-third of the way through, signed on the heel "Boichon Md FourbiSseur Le Cheval blanc à Montpellier".
E.M. Louis XVI period (oxidation).
