Beautiful poem entitled "Le Bouquet", published in Mme Dufrenoy's poetic works under the title "La Fête". This poem is probably a first draft, indeed comparing it with the published text we note differences. In the poem, the second line of the second stanza "Que sa couche par vous s'embaume, et se décore" becomes "Que son lit parfumé de vos noeuds se décore" in the published version. There are 6 differences, including the title.
This poem was written in honor of the Comte de Philippe de Ségur.
