(index and 1 bl.), 19th c. red morocco, 5-rib spine underlined by gilt stippling, gilt author, title, place and date, finely ornamented caissons, double gilt fillet framing the boards, gilt fillet to the edges, gilt inner lace (one corner a little rubbed).
Edition including notes by Claude Mignault (from page 705, preceded by a special title page). It is illustrated with a title frame, 210 mid-page vignettes and woodcuts. The last 12 figures are botanical.
A fine, well-bound copy.
