Marine chronometer manufactured during the Second World War for the Imperial Japanese Navy. The case is composed of multi-level wooden compartments, with one visible glass side. Inside, the clock is mounted on movable gilded brass gimbals, a fixed attachment on the side, key for winding the mechanism in its case. Silvered dial with Roman numerals and railroad minute track, "V-466" inscription in red, power reserve indication, inscriptions in Japanese characters. Gilt brass movement with key winding, special counterweight balance wheel, cylinder balance spring, spindle and chain, detent escapement, the plate decorated with stylized motifs. H. 18 cm - W. 18 cm - D. 18 cm Sold as is, traces of wear, movement does not work, need to be completely refurbished and overhauled, no guarantee of working order.
