A masterpiece of the 18th century, illustrated with perfect taste and grace and magnificently illustrated by Eisen: it features a frontispiece engraved by Ponce, a figure engraved by Longueil, 22 vignettes, a fleuron on the title and 22 culs-de-lampe engraved mainly by Aliamet, Baquoy, Delaunay, Longueil, Massard. In fine, the 47-page Supplément à l'édition des Baisers, L'Imitation des poètes latins. A fine copy, very carefully re-engraved.
