One-piece wooden plate. Cross stamped "104 R. St. 4".
Straight blade, gutter on each side, "carp tongue" end of back, marked "RM SOEMERDA" and dated "03". Black leather scabbard with two steel fittings. All metal parts are polished.
The 104th Infantry Regiment was a Saxon infantry regiment.
