Ten autographed letters with drawings from 1860, addressed to Julius Lovy (general secretary of the Théâtre des Variétés from 1858 to 1860) requesting theater tickets, accompanied by original drawings: 8 in pen, a pencil drawing of a portrait of a man (self-portrait?) on the back of a letter, and a pen drawing of a portrait dated 1886 of a certain Madame Desjardins. Frontispiece, etched portrait of Henri Monnier, all bound in a Volume in-8 (25.5x16 cm), half red morocco (a little rubbed, one bit cracked over 3 cm.) with corners, smooth spine, gilt title throughout.
