The Hoffmann 2 CV Cabriolet is a kit car based on the Citroën 2CV platform, from which it retains the original chassis and front bodywork. Wolfgang HOFFMANN, a former German Citroën dealer, and his son Felix, developed the design and first prototypes in Hohenfurch, Upper Bavaria, in 1988. The product was designed to be assembled by the car's owner. While there are now around 1,700 Hoffmann convertibles in Europe, mainly in Germany and France, at least 250 vehicles were produced in the Hohenfurch workshops. Our example is in fine overall condition, with its houndstooth fabric interior.
