Roman period Yellow-skinned helm-mask with eyes and eyebrows inlaid in blue and white pâte de verre, wearing a tripartite wig with wisps of hair passing over the forehead, decorated with a checkerboard pattern and an oudjat eye. The 4 sons of Horus are represented on the sides, at ear level. H. Approx. 30 cm. Wear, cracks, chips and chips; tears behind his left ear. Presented on a modern wicker form. Provenance: Purchased in Cairo by René BOURGADE, Secretary General of the French Cultural Center, serving from 1970 to 1975. A photographic print, from a slide dated 1973, will be given to the buyer.
