Saint Christopher in bronze, back partly hollowed out. The Christophore saint, one foot in the river water, his other foot resting on a rock, leans on a stick held by his right hand; seated on one shoulder, the Christ child clothed in a long tunic clings to the saint's hair and blesses with his right hand; two fixing holes at the base and attachment tenon at the back.

Like the baptismal font in the church of Saint-Martin in Hal (Brabant), adorned with numerous statuettes of saints, this handsome St. Christopher would have found his place on an important brass work, which could also have been a lectern or a monumental piccierge.
