Paris, Imprimerie royale, 1768, in-12, with a large fold-out table, marbled fawn calf, spine ribbed, cloisonné and fleuronné, title page, triple gilt fillet on covers, single gilt fillet on edges, edges speckled with red (period binding). Beginning of a split at one of the spine ends, minor wear to the head and spine ends.
Unique edition, containing the various catches made between 1765 and 1767, the hunters who worked in those years, and the legal forms to be provided in the event of the capture or killing of a wolf.
Delisle de Moncel (1724-?), cavalry captain in the Condé regiment, was lieutenant to the marshals of France and grand louvetier.
