Paris, veuve Duchesne, Gueffier, 1766, in-8 marbled fawn calf, smooth spine cloisonné et fleuronné, cherry title page, simple gilt fillet on the edges, red edges (period binding). Covers and corners rubbed, small stains on some pages. First edition of this play, which can be read as a dramatic manifesto in favor of what was not yet called "Orleanism".
