JAPAN - EDO period (1603 - 1868), 18th century Pair of porcelain vases decorated in blue underglaze, iron red and polychrome enamels in the Imari style with roosters and flowers on a background of floral and geometric motifs. The handles of the lids in the form of shishi. H 62 cm (Restoration). Enclosed is another Imari porcelain vase decorated with plum trees in bloom on a background of peony motifs. 19th century H 45 cm (Lid reported).
