Iznik composite panel
Quadrifolate panel composed of five siliceous ceramic covering elements, including a square tile and four spandrels in pairs, with polychrome decoration under a colorless glaze. The spandrels are adorned with gushing floral stems, while the tile is decorated with a quadripartite composition of composite flowers and palmettes forming arabesques.
Condition: old fracture and two cracks on the tile. The spandrels are all broken at their lower ends, and their sides are damaged. One of the spandrels is fractured.
Sold as is.
Traces of black paint on all tiles coming from the frame. Antique wooden frame partially dismantled or broken.
