Live from the intimacy of painter Marcel Delmotte. Large gilt-lacquered bronze Buddha in prince's garb, in abbaya mudra. Siam, Rattanakosin period (Thailand, 19th century). Height: 134 cm. Provenance: Private collection of the artist Marcel Delmotte, this lot comes from the painter's home. A certificate of provenance signed by the heir accompanies this lot.
Uit de nalatenschap van de schilder Marcel Delmotte. Grote Boeddha in gelakt en verguld brons gekleed als prins, in abbaya mudra. Siam Rattanakosin-periode (19th eeuws Thailand). Height: 134 cm. Provenance: Privécollectie van de kunstenaar Marcel Delmotte, dit kavel is afkomstig uit het huis van de schilder. Een certificaat van herkomst ondertekend door de erfgenaam vergezelt dit kavel.
