Dancing Krishna, South India, 17th-18th century H 14.5 cm. Copper alloy (2 different metals, Gangajumna) The child god stands on his left leg. His right leg is bent over the head of a snake whose tail he holds with his left hand. His right hand holds a lump of butter. He wears a belt with pendants, a tiara, necklaces and bracelets.
