Embroidered gentleman's jacket or short vest, circa 1780 Water-green silk taffeta embroidered in the past tense, overlapping in polychrome silks with flowers in buttons and green and red oanaches on the chanps; feathers, rocks and blue or gauze-covered geometric motifs on the edges of the basques and flap pockets.
