Handwritten piece, 4 pp. in-4, accompanied by a watercolor drawing (wear to fold). Dated 1774.
Rare 18th-century document on shipbuilding: "Devis et proportions d'un navire à construire mâté en brick": numerous details on the ship's characteristics. Bound with a drawing of the ship in question (18.5 x 30 cm, ink and watercolor), captioned in a cartouche: "Plan d'un navire d'environ 200 tonneaux ayant 62 pieds de quille, trainant sur terre 22 pieds de beaux, 14 pieds 6 pouces de bordée [...]".
