Corrected typescript of the famous "Discours prononcé à Sainte-Hermine le 2 octobre 1921", for the inauguration of his own monument in the center of the village of Sainte-Hermine (sculpted over two years by his friend François Sicard, who depicts him standing on a rock). "In this feast of the victorious Fatherland that our Vendée is celebrating today, I see no room for personal exaltation. This is France's day: what more could fill our hearts? [...] ".
