AIN. Parchment, 53 x 47 cm. March 3, 1607. Judgment of the Parlement de Bourgogne in favor of the abbey of Saint-Rambert en Bugey, plaintiff, on the one hand, and Pierre Baron Barry, merchant of Saint-Rambert, both in his own name and in that of Antoine and Claude Bachelard, children and heirs of Bernard Bachelard, former farmer of the revenues of the abbey of Saint-Rambert, defendant, on the other. The ruling confirms that Baron et al. are bound to pay the abbey the arrears of the abbey's revenues for the year 1595 under a farm lease of April 14, 1592, less the grain and wine they have already remitted to Sébastien Gorra, one of the abbey's bursars.
