Two Corinthian black-figure ointment vessels. a) Small Alabastron. Early Corinthian, 620 - 600 B.C. H 8.1cm, ø 4.5cm. Two opposite cocks. Details in red. Two small flaws on the muzzle plate, otherwise intact. b) Spherical Aryballos. Late Corinthian I, 575 - 500 B.C. H 6.1cm, ø 6.8cm. Four-pass ornament. Tiny bumps, painting rubbed on top. 2 pieces! From the private collection of Dr. Eberhard Hanfstaengl (1886-1973), since at least the 1960s in a Bavarian private collection.
