Corinthian black-figure shamrock inochoe. Middle Corinthian, 600 - 580 B.C. H with handle 38,2cm, ø 26,7cm. With red handle. On the body two animal friezes with panthers, boars and birds, in the spaces rosettes. Between them decorative band with scales with colorful dots. Details in white and red. With old collector's photo! Composed of fragments, painting rubbed and repainted in several places such as the animal heads in the upper frieze. Formerly in a Belgian private collection, acquired in the 1970s.
