Attic red-figure colonnaded krater by the painter of Tarquinia 707. 450 - 430 BC H 39.3cm, W with handles 38cm, ø 32.7cm. On the front two horsemen with lances to the right, on the back three cloaked youths with red painted daenia in their hair. With copies of the French export license and the invoice! Assembled from fragments, with small retouched missing parts at the broken edges, small scratches in some places. From a French private collection, acquired in 1999 from Pierre-Eric Becker - Antiquaire, Cannes. For the painter of Tarquinia 707 see. J. D.
