¤ CARTIER PARIS, 1940's - "Epingle de nourrice" brooch in 750 thousandths yellow gold and 950 thousandths platinum, set with a cluster of gold balls accented with sugar loaf lapis lazuli in square closed settings. Signed "Cartier Paris" and numbered "06577". Maker's mark GROSS & Cie. Length: 7.6cm. Gross weight: 25.1 g.
This model was created in 1937 by designer Jeanne TOUSSAINT, known as "La Panthère" (1887-1976).
