French Art Deco work, circa 1930 - Brooch in 950 thousandth platinum entirely set with 8/8-cut diamonds in a snow-covered and frosted pediment and baluster design, set off by five old-cut diamonds in a closed setting, three of which are pendants, and supporting articulated diamond bangs falling in a cascade. Pin in 750 thousandths white gold. Dimensions: 8.5x5.8cm. Gross weight: 34.2g. (Alterations, wear, missing parts).
The originality of the decoration on this brooch is reminiscent of the "Pampilles" clip by VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, created in 1929, and presented by VCA Héritage at TEFAF Maastricht in 2023.
